DevApps AI, a trade name of ASEL ENTERPRISES Corp ("we," "our," or "us"), built NextGen AI Digital SAT Prep ("the App") as a commercial application. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the App.

By downloading or using NextGen AI Digital SAT Prep, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. Information We Collect

a) Information You Provide Directly

When you use the App, you may provide the following information through normal use:

• SAT goal score and target test date
• Study preferences (subject selection, difficulty level, session length, daily goals)
• Responses to practice questions and diagnostic assessments
• Messages and questions you type into the AI Tutor and AI College Counselor chat features
• Photos of SAT questions captured using the Scan feature (camera)

b) Information Generated Automatically

The App automatically generates and stores the following data locally on your device:

• Practice session results, scores, and accuracy statistics
• Study streak data and progress history
• Flashcard progress and spaced repetition schedules
• Mistake notebook entries
• Score predictions and weekly performance reports
• App settings and preferences (e.g., timer, haptic feedback, adaptive difficulty)

c) Information We Do Not Collect

We do not collect or require:

• Your name, email address, or any personal contact information
• Account credentials (the App does not require registration or login)
• Location data
• Device identifiers for advertising or tracking purposes

2. How Your Data Is Stored

All study data, preferences, practice results, and progress information are stored locally on your device using Apple's standard on-device storage. We do not maintain external servers or databases that store your personal data.

If you delete the App, all locally stored data is permanently removed from your device.

3. How Your Data Is Used

We use the information described above solely to:

• Provide personalized SAT practice sessions and study recommendations
• Power AI Tutor and AI College Counselor conversations
• Track your study progress, streaks, and performance over time
• Generate score predictions and weekly performance reports
• Manage spaced repetition schedules for flashcard review
• Deliver local notifications (study reminders and streak alerts) if you grant notification permission

4. Third-Party AI Services

The App uses third-party artificial intelligence services to power the AI Tutor, AI College Counselor, question generation, and Scan features. When you interact with these features, the text of your messages and, for the Scan feature, images of captured questions are sent to the following providers for processing:

• Google Gemini API (operated by Google LLC)
• Anthropic Claude API (operated by Anthropic PBC)

These providers process your requests in order to generate responses. We do not send any personal identifiers (name, email, device ID) to these services — only the content of your queries and, where applicable, your practice context (such as subject area and difficulty level).

5. Camera Usage

The App includes a Scan feature that uses your device's camera to photograph SAT questions for AI-powered analysis. Camera access is requested only when you use this feature. Photos are processed temporarily and are not stored permanently on our servers. You may deny camera access at any time through your device's Settings, and the App will continue to function without the Scan feature.

6. Subscriptions and Payments

NextGen AI Digital SAT Prep offers optional premium subscriptions (monthly and annual plans) through Apple's in-app purchase system. All payment transactions are processed entirely by Apple. We do not collect, store, or have access to your payment information, credit card details, or Apple ID.

7. Notifications

With your permission, the App may send local notifications to remind you about study sessions, streak maintenance, and weekly progress reports. These notifications are generated and scheduled entirely on your device. We do not use push notification servers and do not collect notification tokens.

8. Children's Privacy

The App is designed for students preparing for the SAT, who are typically 14 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 years of age. Since the App does not require account creation and stores all data locally on the device, no personal information is transmitted to us from users of any age.

If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child under 13 has provided personal information through the App's AI features, please contact us at support@devappsai.com so we can take appropriate action.

9. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, trade, or otherwise share your personal information with third parties for marketing or advertising purposes.

Data is shared with third parties only in the following limited circumstances:

• AI Service Providers: As described in Section 4, the content of your AI Tutor, AI Counselor, and Scan interactions is sent to Google and Anthropic for processing.
• Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, regulation, or legal process.

10. Advertising and Tracking

NextGen AI Digital SAT Prep does not contain any advertising. We do not use advertising identifiers, tracking pixels, analytics SDKs, or any form of cross-app tracking. We do not participate in any advertising networks.

11. Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect the information associated with your use of the App. API keys used to communicate with AI services are obfuscated within the application code. Since your study data is stored locally on your device, its security is also protected by your device's built-in security features (passcode, Face ID, Touch ID).

However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

12. Your Rights and Choices

Because your data is stored locally on your device, you have full control over it:

• Access and Review: All your study data and progress are visible within the App at any time.
• Deletion: You can delete all App data by deleting the App from your device. You can also reset specific data (such as practice history or flashcard progress) from within the App's Settings.
• Camera Permission: You can grant or revoke camera access at any time in your device's Settings.
• Notifications: You can enable or disable notifications at any time in your device's Settings.

13. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the "Effective Date" at the top of this page and publish the revised policy at this URL. We encourage you to review this page periodically.

If we make material changes that significantly affect how we handle your data, we will provide notice within the App.
